1 · How to film
- Side clip: stand on the throwing-arm side, level with the middle of the stride, 15 to 25 feet away.
- Behind clip: stand behind the pitcher, in line with home plate, 15 to 30 feet back.
- Phone sideways (landscape), about hip to chest height, held still on a tripod or a fence. Don't move or zoom.
- Use the 1x lens, not 0.5x. Zoom out by stepping back instead.
- Whole body in the picture from the set position to the follow-through. Only the pitcher in the frame.
- Slo-Mo on: 240 fps is best, 120 is the minimum. HD (720p or more).
- Good light: daylight or a bright gym, light in front of the pitcher.
- One game-speed pitch per clip, 2 to 20 seconds long, after a full warm-up. Never film when tired or sore.
Tip: tape a mark on the ground as far from the rubber as the pitcher is tall. It helps measure the stride.
2 · Add your clips
Add a side clip, a behind clip, or both. Either one works; both give the fullest check.

The short version
- A parent or guardian creates every account.
- For kids under 13, a parent must approve by email before we save any of the child's info.
- We collect only what we need to build safe pitching plans.
- No ads. We never sell data. No third-party tracking.
- Parents can see, change or delete their child's info any time.
What we collect
- Parent: email, optional mobile phone, password (stored securely), plan choice.
- Player contact (optional): email and mobile phone, entered by the parent. Kept private and used later for the recruiting portal; never shared with recruiters unless you turn it on. For players under 13 it is covered by the parental consent.
- Pitcher: first name, age, throwing hand, season, and anything the family adds to the profile (like height or game days).
- Activity: plan check-offs, arm-feel check-ins, pitch counts and Ask Coach questions.
- Video Check: a small copy of each clip, one still frame and the measurements. Saved privately to your family account so you can watch them on any device. Never public. A parent can delete any check, and its video, any time.
- Pitch data: speeds you type in, and device files or screenshots you upload. Each speed shows where it came from.
- Usage: which screens are used, tied to a random ID, never a name or email.
How we use it
To build daily plans, enforce pitch-count and rest rules, show parents weekly summaries, answer coach questions, and improve the app. That's it.
Children under 13
We follow the U.S. children's privacy law (COPPA). We email the parent a notice and an approval link. Until the parent approves, we don't save the child's plan, answers or pitch counts. A parent can refuse, and can later withdraw approval and ask us to delete everything.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we don't use it for ads. We share data only with service providers that run the app for us (like hosting and payments), under contracts that protect it. Share cards and social posts happen only if a parent turns sharing on.
Keeping and deleting
We keep data while the account is active. Delete the account and we erase it within 30 days, except what the law makes us keep (like payment records).
Contact
Questions, or to see, fix or delete your family's data, email privacy@sixty6baseball.com from the parent account email. We answer within 30 days. Website: https://sixty6baseball.com.

Who can use SIXTY6
SIXTY6 is for pitchers ages 7 to 25. For players under 18, a parent or legal guardian creates the account and is responsible for it. Players 18 and older can hold their own account or keep using a parent's.
Not medical advice
SIXTY6 gives general training ideas. It is not a doctor or athletic trainer. If your child has arm pain, stop throwing and see a medical professional. Ask Coach answers are automatic and can be wrong.
Safety rules
Plans include pitch-count and rest limits. Families and coaches are still responsible for following league rules and stopping when something hurts.
Plans and billing
Two plans. Player $49/month or $399/year (one player). Family $79/month or $649/year (up to 4 players). Both include every feature. Video Check: one saved check per player every 7 days. Founding price: Player $29/month for the first 100 players, kept while the account stays active. Free trial: Player and Family (monthly or yearly) start with a 7-day free trial. When it ends, the trial turns into a paid plan and your card is charged unless you cancel before then. We email you a reminder 2 days before your trial ends. One trial per family. Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until canceled; cancel anytime in Manage billing. Yearly plans get a reminder email 7 days before renewal. Cancel any time; access lasts to the end of the paid period. Refunds: if you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
Your content
You own your videos. You let us use them only to give you feedback. We won't share them publicly without a parent's OK. Video Check clips are analyzed on the device and saved privately to the family account.
Be respectful
Don't misuse the app, try to break in, or upload anything harmful. We can suspend accounts that do.
Injury risk and release
Pitching, throwing, lifting and training can cause injuries, and some can be serious. By using SIXTY6, the parent or guardian (for a player under 18) or the adult player accepts that risk. To the fullest extent Texas law allows, SIXTY6 and its owners are not liable for injuries that come from using the app or doing its drills. Check with a doctor before starting, and stop right away if anything hurts. Where the law allows, a parent or guardian agrees to indemnify SIXTY6 and its owners (pay their costs) for any claims made on the minor's behalf.
Limits
The app is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. We may update these terms; we'll post the new date here and email parents about big changes. Questions: support@sixty6baseball.com.
